　　讀到這兒就樂了，立刻能腦補(bǔ)一個畫面：一個中國童鞋一臉虔誠的說“我真的特別喜歡你們公司，如果沒能跟你們公司面試真的是太遺憾了！”這話中文聽著多有誠意啊，但直接翻譯成英文就覺得超級無敵囧。如果你想表達(dá)相似的意思，不妨試試這么說：

　　I wanted to follow-up with you because I have not yet heard back regarding my application status. Your company is my first choice， so I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to interview with your team.

　　這樣說比較符合美國的書面郵件說法，而且顯得很淡定。下次記得用用看。

　　命令的語氣

　　很多同學(xué)在郵件里附上自己簡歷之后會扔一句“Please review my resume”，感覺跟大老板扔了一沓兒材料在臉上似的。下次咱換個客氣一點(diǎn)的語氣好嗎？比如這樣：

　　I would greatly appreciate any advice you have on refining my resume for opportunities in this field.

　　還經(jīng)?？吹接型@樣寫：

　　“I can’t thank you enough for your mentorship and guidance. Let’s stay in touch！”腦補(bǔ)的畫面就是被領(lǐng)導(dǎo)拍著肩說’年輕人以后跟哥混啊！’換成這樣說是不是好很多：

　　Thanks again for your mentorship and guidance. I’ll be sure to keep you apprised of any developments on my end， and I look forward to staying in touch.

　　那些要命的語法錯誤

　　這里說的都不是什么虛擬語氣啊那些高深的，而是最最最普通的語法錯誤，拎個小學(xué)生過來都能挑出來一籮筐那種。先別狡辯，咱們一起來看個例子，截自一封收到的真實(shí)的學(xué)生來信：

　　Hi

　　I found your contact information from alumni directory.

　　Please allow me introducing myself firstly. My name is XXX， MSF student from University of YYY. I will graduate from my Master degree from University of YYY with major in Finance. I`m seeking forentry-level position in finance industry. May I know whether your company has opening positions or has plan to recruit in your group？

　　Thanks for your time. I`m looking forward to hear from you soon.

　　咋一看覺得還行啊，沒那么糟啊，明白他什么意思，也挺言簡意賅的。

　　很負(fù)責(zé)任的告訴你，大多數(shù)美國的HR或者職場人收到這封郵件的人都會直接忽略的。原因就是那些無謂的語法錯誤。

　　第一句話就直接吐血了。首先，先不說這句話有沒有必要說，正確的語法應(yīng)該是：Please allow me to introduce myself first.

　　有同學(xué)不好意思的撓撓頭，托福，GRE，GMAT都是好幾年前考的了，語法早還給老師了，allow somebody是to do還是doing確實(shí)不太記得了。

　　理解。給你介紹一位隨叫隨到的語法老師：Google。

　　如果你去google一下，你就會發(fā)現(xiàn)“please allow me introducing myself”是完全搜不到任何結(jié)果的！反而能搜到不少“please allow me to introduce myself”這個正確的說法。所以說查錯真的有這么難嗎？沒有，只是你懶！

　　關(guān)于這第一句話，再啰嗦一句。這句話完全可以刪去，不用跟說評書似的先來句‘上回說到！’，直接從My name is XXX開始一點(diǎn)問題都沒有。

　　咱們繼續(xù)往下看。下一句話，額，MSF student前面少了個a。而且虹姐再說一句，專業(yè)這種縮寫建議大家盡量避免，人家哪知道MSF是啥意思啊。你可以寫成‘a(chǎn) graduate student in the Master in Finance program at University of YYY.＂

　　下一句和下下句的錯誤都是可以在google一查就查出來的?！皐ith major in Finance”應(yīng)該改成“majoring in Finance”。再下一句中“I`m seeking for entry-level position in finance industry”應(yīng)該改成“I am seeking（沒有for）an entry-level position in the finance industry.＂ 而且，這句話有些突兀了，尤其在和不認(rèn)識的聯(lián)系人第一次郵件，盡量避免提job， internship， position這些比較扎眼敏感的詞。你可以用更婉轉(zhuǎn)的方式來表達(dá)，比如“ I am looking for entry-level opportunities to start my career in the finance industry＂。這就好像你單身，你可以說你是悲催的單身狗，也可以跟人家說你正在期待下一次的緣分。一個意思，不同境界。

　　最后一句話是最經(jīng)典的錯誤了！10個童鞋有9個半都犯過！Look forward to DOING sth. Look forward to DOING sth. Look forward to DOING sth.重要的事情說三遍。還有同學(xué)經(jīng)常寫成 I am look forward to do sth.，無力吐槽。這句話可不能再錯了?。。?/p>
